Intellectual Property · Thailand

Your creativity are assets.
Manage them like a portfolio.

Trademarks protect the brand you're investing in. Patents and trade secrets protect the edge over your competitor. Copyright protects the works. We build them into one portfolio that captures the value of what you create and protects you from the IP risks that run through your business.

Registration opinions and filings are a lawyer's paid work, scoped before they start.

The problem

One trademark filing
is not an IP strategy.

Most businesses protect the one thing they were told to protect, usually the logo, and leave the rest exposed. But your customers' recognition lives in the trademark, your product edge lives in patents and trade secrets, and your content, code and designs live in copyright. Protect one layer and you've still left the others on the table for your competitors to grab.

IP cuts both ways:
the riskiest IP problem is often someone else's. Using a name, a design, or a technology someone else registered first can cost far more than registering your own ever would.

The free guide

The Business IP Portfolio Guides

What to protect before you launch, scale, or raise: trademark, patent, copyright and trade-secret decisions in one page, in plain language.

The guide is general information, not legal advice. Clearance, opinions and filings are a lawyer's paid work.

What's covered

Capture the value.
Close the exposure.

The guide shows you what's at stake. Here's what we do when it's time to protect it.

IP registration

Trademark, patent and copyright filings in Thailand: search, strategy, filing, and prosecution through to registration, plus international protection when your business crosses borders.

Portfolio building

We map what you actually own (names, marks, inventions, works, know-how), close the gaps, and line the portfolio up with where the business is going, so protection arrives before the risk does.

Licensing

Your IP can earn. Licensing, franchising and technology-transfer agreements drafted so the revenue is real and the rights come back to you intact.

Enforcement

Oppositions, cancellations, takedowns, cease-and-desist, and disputes. When someone trades on what's yours, we act; when someone claims you're trading on theirs, we defend.

Who's behind it

A Thai IP lawyer
who builds portfolios, not just filings.

CorpJurist is run by a Thai-licensed lawyer with 14 years of practice. The portfolio approach comes from the practice itself: registrations, licensing and enforcement handled by the lawyer, so every filing serves the strategy instead of sitting in a drawer.

Plans

Scoped work,
with the price clear before it starts.

Registration opinions, filings and portfolio work are fixed-scope, quoted before they start.

FAQ

Common questions

Trademark, patent, copyright: which one do I need?

Short answer: trademark protects names and logos customers recognise you by; patents protect inventions and how things work; copyright protects original works such as text, images, code and design. Most businesses need at least two of the three. The guide above walks you through it.

I used the name first. Doesn't that make it mine?

In Thailand, mostly no: trademark rights go to whoever registers first, not whoever used it first. If the name matters to your business, filing early is the protection.

Can you handle protection outside Thailand?

Yes. We manage international brand protection and coordinate filings abroad as your markets expand.

When do trade secrets matter?

When the value is in something competitors can't see: a process, a recipe, a dataset, a client list. Some things are better kept secret than published in a patent. Choosing which is a strategy call, and we'll be straight with you about it.

Have a name, a product, or a work worth protecting?

Tell us what you're building. We'll tell you what's protectable, what's exposed, and what to do first.
